Welcome to the Spark Insight Journal! This journal is our attempt to share the beauty and the magic, the highlights and the lowlights, our stories of successes and failures, moments of joy and peace and other big feelings; largely, a peek into our Spark world. What you can expect is a bi-weekly post to bring you into our world in small bites. We hope that these little posts of ours can fill your heart with amazement and joy.
To start with, is there anything better than Gratitude? Thank you deeply, for trusting us with your child. Thank you, for extending warmth and understanding in the smallest of ways. Thank you, for the abundance of caution during this unique year. Thank you, for this village. We can feel it all, and hope that you can too!
And Thank You to the learners, from whom we learn so much. Observing young Sparks is a gift, as there is a lesson for us in each step. We get to observe their respect, their gratitude, their courtesy towards one another through their highs and lows.
Today we are sharing some quintessential fall photos of the learners. Throughout the year in Spark, we celebrate the changes in the seasons, and the arrival of fall brings with it special fall activities: outdoor leaves raking became quite the popular activity every day, our very own fall tree mural was filled in (this tree had fall colored leaves last month and now has some pumpkins and ghosts!) and every day there has been an increasing number of bats hanging from our ceiling!
More insight soon!
With grateful hearts,
Spark Guides.
