With the session underway, Discoverers settled into their new freedoms and responsibilities with grace.
In the Studio
In this session’s art, Discoverers have been assembling collages. This week, they were challenged to begin the process of recreating their collages on a larger scale using colored pencil. Also, during a Hero’s Journey presentation this week from Dimitri Gröpler, learners were challenged to write a letter to a friend describing their E-Ship Quest challenge. However, crucial words were banned from use: lemonade, business, lemon, juice, and stand. Discoverers rose to the challenge with enthusiasm!
Outside the Studio
Discoverers continued to hone their soccer skills this week in PD. The learners put in clear effort as they ran their drills and practiced. Additionally, nearly the whole Discovery Studio participated in Ascent’s new Run Club! Learners took their first run of Run Club, leaving campus to challenge themselves and gauge their conditioning for future runs.
